The HTC Tilt 2 launched with AT&T is a marked improvement over the Tilt 1 with faster processor and increased memory. The Tilt 2 has a black accented face with chrome trim. HTC Tilt2 is a Windows Mobile 6.5 smart phone and features a sliding QWERTY keyboard embedded with large key size, even the big fingers spaced out enough from one another. HTC Tilt 2 has an impressive 3.6″ resistive touch screen display that can be easily tilted for expanded viewing area with 800 x 480 pixel resolution along with gravity and light sensors.
While a conference call just flip the phone over to turn on your speakerphone. HTC Tilt 2 has TouchFlo 3D interface and consists of several tabs at the bottom of the home screen, which can be viewed by sliding a finger along the bottom bar or touching one of the visible icons. HTC Tilt 2 with AT&T has a built in speaker, mic and 3.5mm stereo headphone jack Voice Recorder and Windows Mobile Media Player 10 included.
The phone has HTC’s “Straight Talk” conference calling Technology with improved speakerphone quality, you just need to flip the phone over to turn on your speakerphone.
It has a Power/Sleep button at the top and a Zoom bar at the bottom of the screen for better Web navigation. Tilt 2 come with some pre installed apps such as Microsoft Mobile Office, Opera Mobile browser (version 9.5), Adobe Reader LE, and Windows Marketplace. It also has 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and a GPS.
HTC Tilt 2 has a 3.2 mega pixel camera at the back of the phone with auto focus lens and 2048×1536 pixels resolution. The Video resolution is up to 352×288 pixels. The various video capture formats supported are H.263, 3GPP2 and MPEG4. Tilt 2 has a 528MHz Qualcomm processor, 288 MB RAM & 512 MB flash ROM with approx. 200 MB free for storage. The phone also has Integrated WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1. +EDR with headset, hands free, serial port, FTP, PAN, phone book access, A2DP and AVRC profiles. There is also a SDHC MicroSD card slot under back cover. HTC Tilt 2 with AT&T provides pre-installed GPS Navigator service. Talk about the buttons, the Tilt2 has 4 buttons on the front Send, Start, Back and End. Pressing the End key takes you back to the Home screen. HTC Tilt 2 with AT&T comes with USB cable, wall charger, spare stylus, head phone adapter, and the routine manuals and software CD in the box.
HTC Tilt 2 available with AT&T has a network provider lock. This means that you cannot use other SIM cards. The code can unlock HTC Tilt 2 Instantly but for that you need the correct code. Each phone has a Unique IMEI number and hence a unique Unlock code. So, remember to buy the code from professional HTC Unlock Code providers, never buy the unlock code from websites which offer the code at very cheap rates.
